Dr. Oscar Morales
Dr. Morales is a board-certified in Psychiatry and Chief Medical Advisor at Achieve TMS East. For almost two decades, he has served and continues to be the Director of TMS at McLean Hospital. He has personally treated over 1000 patients with TMS over the last 15 years. He was the first in the Harvard/Partners Healthcare system dedicated to psychiatric treatments and investigation. He is responsible oversees all TMS activities, including clinical, training, and current investigation of TMS in treating psychiatric disorders.
Dr. Morales is on the faculty for the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program and is involved in training of Harvard students, residents, fellows, and psychiatrists. As a fellow, Dr. Morales participated in the investigation that led FDA to approve TMS for the treatment of depression (2008) and was the primary investigator for a worldwide trial that resulted in FDA approval of deep TMS for the treatment of depression (2013). He is an expert in the National Network of Depression Centers (NNDC) TMS Task Group, which develops guidelines, recommendations and collaborative research at a national level.
Dr. John Zebrun
Dr. Zebrun is board-certified in psychiatry and in child and adolescent psychiatry. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his general psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and his child psychiatry training at the University of Maryland and the UConn Health Center. Dr. Zebrun has been in clinical practice for over 20 years in the Pioneer Valley, and has served as Medical Director of both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.
Dr. Rebecca Knapp
Dr. Knapp is board-certified in psychiatry with over 25 years of experience working in the behavioral health field. Along with serving as one of Achieve TMS East’s psychiatrist, she is also the Medical Director of the Susan Wayne Center of Excellence in Thompson, CT and runs her own part time private practice in West Boylston, MA. Dr. Knapp received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry followed by a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UMass Medical School. Dr. Knapp has been the recipient of several medical awards, including the Esther B. and Albert Kahn Scholarship Award for care of and compassion for patients and excellence in Internal Medicine and the Malamud Prize for Excellence in Psychiatry.
Board-certified in psychiatry, Dr. Jaffe has over 40 years of experience working in the behavioral health field and has been in private practice for the past 22 years. He also was the Director of Outpatient Psychiatry at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts for many years. In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Jaffe has done a considerable amount of teaching and has published several papers about depression and its treatment. Dr. Jaffe received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.
Dr. Manish Sheth
Dr. Sheth is Licensed and Board Certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. He has experience working with patients who have various conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, anxiety, ADHD and various mood disorders. In addition to his work at Achieve TMS, he is the Co-Medical Director at the Tri-City Medical Center Behavioral Health Unit.
Dr. Sheth also applies his background as former Clinical Director of Genomics and work with genetic technology to help create an individualized treatment regimen. In addition, he combines neuromodulation, the non-invasive magnetic stimulation of specific brain areas, and neuropharmocology to provide cutting edge care to each of his patients. He keeps up with new advances in the field of psychiatry including therapy techniques, new medications, and is trained to use Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). In these ways, he helps patients achieve their maximum potential at social, educational, and professional levels.
Dr. Sheth, psychiatrist for depression, is married with three children and enjoys music and sports as well as spending time with his family.
Dr. William E. Knight
Dr. Knight is board-certified in psychiatry, active in Massachusetts and New York, and has over 40 years of experience owning his own private psychiatric practice in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He received his medical degree from Yale Medical School in New Haven, Connecticut and has been a Consulting Psychiatrist for various medical facilities throughout the Berkshires as well as an Army Psychiatrist for the Army Medical Corps at the U.S. Patterson Army Hospital in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. Dr. Knight has also taken on several leadership roles in the medical field serving as both the Medical Director of Berkshire Mental Health Center and the Director of the Families of the Elderly Program at the Family Center of the Berkshires at Berkshire Medical Center.
Dr. Brian Smith
Dr. Smith is a neurologist and sleep specialist. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his medical internship at Roger Williams Medical Center and his neurology training at Dartmouth Medical Center. He has been a national speaker on topics of sleep medicine and neurology along with multiple journal article and text book chapter publications. He is a member of the International and North American Neuromodulation Societies.
Marjorie Pierce is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and received her Masters of Social Work from Boston University. She has worked in the field of mental health treatment and substance abuse treatment for the past 18 years, including running her own practice. She recently earned her MBA degree through the Isenberg School of Management at University of Massachusetts Amherst, with a focus in Healthcare Administration.
Stacey Kronenberg is a Certified Brainsway TMS Technician and Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College of Massachusetts. She comes to Achieve TMS East with a background in sleep medicine where she worked with neurologist Dr. Brian Smith at Sleep Medicine of Western Massachusetts and most recently at The Central New England Sleep Disorder Institute at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Larissa Hayden is the Marketing Specialist at Achieve TMS East. She comes from a background in social media and integrated marketing and communications and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from Bay Path University. Larissa is here for all of your event and marketing related needs. Pratik Patel is a Principal and the Chief Growth Officer at Achieve TMS East.
