Dr. Erin Valenti
Dr. Valenti is a board certified psychiatrist working in Massachusetts. She graduated from Harvard University with a degree in psychology and spent 4 years working in the mental health field, primarily with adolescents, before going on to medical school at Brown University. Following medical school, she completed residency at Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program, training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She received an award for Outstanding Resident Teaching from students at Harvard Medical School. Currently, Dr. Valenti is the attending psychiatrist at the 20 Vining DBT Program at Massachusetts Mental Health Center. She is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School, serving as a part-time instructor, working with and supervising medical students and residents in addition to psychology and social work trainees. Dr. Valenti also does work as an NBC expert radio news consultant, doing both live and recorded interviews with radio stations in several cities across the country.
